Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. — Ephesians 4:29

Reflection: Edification is a deliberate choice we make each day. Every word we speak carries the weight of either building up or tearing down. God calls us to speak purposefully and lovingly, using words that strengthen faith, restore hope, and release grace.

When our speech aligns with His heart, we become a channel through which God encourages, heals, and uplifts others. Today, let’s be intentional with our words, choosing to speak life and grace into the lives around us.

Remember, our voices hold power. A kind word, a gentle affirmation, or a timely word of encouragement can become light in someone’s darkness, a balm to a wounded soul, and a witness to God’s love. Use your words to reflect the love of Christ, knowing that by doing so, you can touch hearts and change lives.

Speak life, share grace, and let your words be a light in someone’s darkness. Amen.

Grace and peace to everyone until our next devotional.
